Conventional dye processes use super heated water and chemicals to infuse synthetic fibers with color. Approximately at least 11 liters of water are needed for each meter of dyed fabric and according to Global Efficiency Intelligence , on average, 100-150 liters of water are needed to process 1 kg of textile material.
Instead, our Dye Free cap uses an eco-friendly technology called e.dye. The colour of the fabric is added “upstream”, during the extrusion phase becoming an integral part of the polymeric matrix by hot transfer from the color polymers directly inside the yarn without immersion in water. This means less waste and emission of dyes.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW?
More efficient use of water
No risk of emission of dyes
Colour inside the yarn is permanent and it won't fade or bleed on to adjacent colors
Minimized use of chemicals
Reduced CO2 emission
Less energy consumption
